We use air mail for packages sent ourtside of the Nordic countries.

Shipping costs
The costs of shipping is charged based on shipment weight/volume. i.e. we combine shipping!
The costs of shipping comes from the Swedish postal service. We ship using air mail for orders outside of the nordic countries.

Shipping to a different address
You can ship to a different adress than your own. The shipping cost will be calculated on the shipping adress if the adress is different than to the buyers.
To make it easier to ship gifts we will giftwrap on request. If you would like a card to go with the gift just write the message you want on the card in the message box when you place the order. We see this as a service to our customars so this service is free of charge.

Shipping time:
Shipping to other European countries take approx. 3-5 working days.
Shipping to USA or Canada take approx. 5-8 working days.

Please allow 3-4 days for us to ship and handel your order.

Terms:
The customers are paying for the cost of shipping. Shipping insurance is optional for all orders. (Read more under shipping insurance)
No other fees will be added to the order.

Shipping Insurance
Shipping insurance is optional for all orders. Its one fee per package (8.50 USD) that cover the full value of the order. We can not take any responsibility for uninsured shipping. If you have not insured the shipping we can not trace / track the package.

- If your order does not arrive:
Please send us an email. We will help you track the package to see if it has just been delayed or has gone missing. Uninsured packages can not be tracked.

- If your order is damaged during shipping:
Always contacts us immediately (within 24 hours) on receipt of the item via email.
- Make a formal complaint and check the contence of your package at the post office, before signing for the package, if it has arrived in a damaged state.
- Take a digital picture of the product with the box and packingmaterial in its damaged state. Save the damaged goods and all packingmaterial until the claim is cleared incase we need aditional pictures.

Returns and refund:
Always contact us if you want to return or exchange a product !!!

We have a 30-day returns policy. You can not return or exchange products 30 days after arrival.

We refund or exchange products at no cost to you only if:
- Nordic Design have shipped a product you did not order. i.e. where Nordic Design is at fault.
- You contact us with your request of refund or exchange within 24 hours i.e. before we have shipped the product.

The full return shipping costs for refunds or exchange of a product will be covered by the buyer.
The product needs to arrive in its original unused condition so we can resell the product.
Used products can not be refunded or exchanged.
Its the buyers liability to pay for insurance costs back to Nordic Design.
No refunds or exchanges will be shipped until Nordic Design have recieved the product and the aditional shipping costs for the exchanged products have been paied by the buyer.

No products custom made or especially ordered for you can be returned or exchanged. The Swedish folk costume can not be refunded only exchanged.
